Major Accountabilities
- Drive demand management to balance business needs with organizational strategy and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers; act as primary Procurement contact.
- Lead sourcing and supplier relationship management, executing Source-to-Contract and negotiations.
- Develop and implement category and US procurement strategies aligned to Procurement and ecosystem goals.
- Analyze value chains using total cost of ownership and should-cost modeling to optimize spend.
- Own productivity and cost-efficiency targets; ensure compliance with procurement policies, audits, and processes.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes to ensure quality delivery, stakeholder alignment, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, manage, and develop the Procurement team (capabilities, governance, talent development).

Minimum Requirements
- University/advanced degree required; master’s or other advanced qualification preferred.
- 20 years overall experience with 10+ years relevant business experience.
- Significant experience in Indirect Commercial (Marketing agency) required.
- Preferably 10+ years procurement or related experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong leadership and project management; experience managing large teams (~50 reports).
- Experience managing large-scale spend (~$2B+).
- Strong communication, influencing, strategic thinking, and financial management skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.
