Head of Technical Investment Procurement

Role: Senior procurement leader responsible for enterprise-wide Technical Investment Procurement, overseeing ~$3.2B spend in manufacturing, utilities, facilities, and real estate, with a focus on maximizing value through strategic category management. Responsibilities: develop and execute differentiated category strategies, optimize total cost of ownership, lead supplier relationship management and innovation initiatives, and partner with engineering and real estate leaders to improve asset performance and lifecycle costs. Also focus on risk management, ESG, sustainability, process automation, and team development. Qualifications: university degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business; 15+ years in biotech/pharma or regulated industries with senior procurement leadership, particularly in technical services categories; proven experience managing large, global spend portfolios; strong stakeholder influence, negotiation, and contract management skills; fluent in English. High-Value: experience in GxP environments, manufacturing, utilities, capital projects, and facilities; strategic leadership in global category teams; exposure to sustainability and ESG initiatives; office-based role with approximately 20-30% international travel.
