Role Summary

Head of Strategy and Implementation - GSHR located in New Brunswick, NJ, Tampa, FL, Manila, Bogota, or Prague. Responsible for partnering with GSHR Leaders to develop and deliver the GSHR multi-year strategic plan and annual operating and financial plans. Provides oversight and execution of high-impact programs across people, process, technology, and capability development. Requires significant stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Own GSHRโ€šร„รดs strategic roadmap by developing / refreshing the multi-year strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders and external insights.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to GSHR programs that require cross-functional orchestration, ensuring integrated plans, coaching for execution, and value realization across efficiency, effectiveness, and experience.
  • Influence sponsors and stakeholders on program scope, resources, performance, risks, and value delivery.
  • Partner with finance to develop balanced financial plans and prioritize investments to high-impact areas.
  • Ensure end-to-end, integrated plans across people, process, and technology with key interdependencies identified and aligned.
  • Develop cross-functional execution plans and align timelines and resources, including integration with other strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with change management and communications to develop strong change management plans.
  • Establish governance with PMO partners, drive risk management, issue resolution, and contingency planning.
  • Guide the team in advancing project management maturity, manage portfolio health, and address trade-offs.
  • Provide day-to-day team guidance, practice Servant Leadership, and foster an inclusive culture; coach a pipeline of global and diverse leaders.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree in business or organizational management preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of program and strategy design/execution experience, including 10 years of people management experience.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Business acumen with analytical and strategic thinking abilities; capability to connect complex factors.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • 10+ years of people management experience; proven track record of developing high-performing teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Collaborative, able to manage complexity and ambiguity.
  • Visionary problem solver with global leadership experience and appreciation for regional differences.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
  • Financial acumen; ability to manage budgets and realize value (preferred).
  • Experience in process design, continuous improvement, and transformation (preferred).
  • Change management expertise; experience leading global projects (preferred).
  • Time Zone Availability: must work US time zones.
