Role Summary

Head of Strategy and Implementation - GSHR. Leads the development and delivery of the GSHR multi-year strategic plan and annual operating and financial plans, overseeing high-impact programs across people, process, technology, and capability development. Global, cross-functional role with significant stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Own GSHRโ€šร„รดs strategic roadmap by developing / refreshing multi-year strategy with internal and external insights.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to cross-functional programs, ensuring integrated plans, coaching, and value realization across efficiency, effectiveness, and experience.
  • Influence sponsors and stakeholders on scope, resources, performance, risks, and value delivery.
  • Partner with finance to develop balanced financial plans and allocate resources to high-impact initiatives.
  • Ensure end-to-end integrated plans across people, process, and technology; identify interdependencies.
  • Develop cross-functional execution plans and align timelines/resources with other strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with change management and communications to develop strong change plans.
  • Establish governance with PMO, manage risk, resolve issues, and plan contingencies.
  • Advance project management maturity within GSHR; monitor portfolio health and manage trade-offs.
  • Provide team guidance, practice Servant Leadership, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture; coach a diverse leadership pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree in business or organizational management preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of program and strategy design/execution experience, including 10 years of people management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to present to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • Proven people management and team development in a matrixed environment (โ€šรขโ€ข10 years).
  • Collaborative, able to navigate complexity and ambiguity; visionary problem solver.
  • Global leadership experience with sensitivity to regional differences; adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial acumen; ability to manage budgets and realize value; preferred in process design/improvement and change management.
  • Time Zone Availability: must work U.S. time zones.
