What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and ongoing management of BridgeBio’s long-range strategic plan, translating the mission, pipeline, and commercial trajectory into a rigorous dynamic view.
- Own the annual strategic planning process (framework design, cross-functional alignment, outputs guiding resource allocation/prioritization).
- Drive goal-setting and operational planning (e.g., OKRs) connecting enterprise strategy to affiliate/functional execution.
- Identify and frame key strategic questions and apply structured first-principles analysis to answer them.
- Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Commercial, and affiliate leadership to evaluate and prioritize the pipeline; build frameworks to assess portfolio risk, opportunity, and strategic fit; support affiliate plans and stress-testing for alignment.
- Synthesize external signals (scientific, competitor pipeline, regulatory, market, geopolitical/governmental dynamics) into strategic implications; partner with Business Development and Operations on competitive intelligence.
- Support evaluation of licensing deals, strategic partnerships, and transactions; develop evaluation frameworks; partner with Legal, Finance, and R&D on diligence and planning.
- Lead Board-level strategy presentations and investor-facing materials; partner with Strategic Finance/IR and executives to ensure communications reflect the strategic narrative.

Who You Are (Qualifications)
- 8–12+ years in strategic planning, management consulting, or investment banking with biopharma/life sciences exposure; top-tier strategy firm experience strongly preferred.
- Substantive biotech/pharma industry knowledge (pipeline valuation, rare disease competitive dynamics).
- Experience developing/presenting Board-level strategy materials.
- Exceptional analytical skills (financial modeling, scenario analysis) and strong synthesis/storytelling.
- Precise written/verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
- Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA/PhD/MD or equivalent).
