Main Responsibilities:
- Support on-time and in-full delivery of products for CMOs/external suppliers; accountable for reporting Specialty Care & EM&S KPIs; drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery.
- Lead people management for EST Operations personnel; accountable for financial resource planning within budget (including creation/maintenance of labor model); support DE&I initiatives; develop and maintain a positive, psychologically safe culture.
- Advise on operational/financial management of products and CMOs, including contract topics and technical support; ensure EM&S tech transfers and commercialization into new CMOs are effective.
- Drive Standardization & Simplification initiatives with functional heads and the Center of Excellence Technology (SMS/Digital); standardize contracts with EMPT & CMO Business Operations; internal point of contact for introduction of new digital tools (e.g., Power BI, Plai); work with EST and Procurement on cost-saving initiatives.
- Support problem resolution, including deviation and change control, between operations personnel and internal/external partners.
- Work transversally with other EST functional heads to standardize and optimize CMO management processes.
- Support EST execution of related projects and sourcing activities as a CMO and product expert.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (or equivalent) + 10+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree (or equivalent) + 8+ years’ experience.
- Prior operational leadership experience (ideally site manager, or SLT/Senior Leadership Team member).
- Good functional knowledge of industrial business processes.
- Cross-site and cross-GBU/Global Business Units exposure (plus).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of data management and IA/digital products.
- Knowledge of end-to-end product & industrial strategy, performance management, and project management.
- Knowledge of biotech/pharmaceutical industry technologies.
- Strong analytical skills; KPI/key performance indicator proficiency (target setting and monitoring).

Special Working Conditions:
- Travel as needed to support onsite manufacturing oversight (up to 20% per year).
