Head of Procurement Value Delivery

Role: Senior leader responsible for enterprise value delivery within Takeda Procurement, overseeing end-to-end value realization from external spend across all categories and business units. Key objectives include establishing and managing the enterprise value-delivery framework, pipeline, and benefits realization, directly impacting the P&L. Responsibilities involve developing a global value-delivery methodology, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and providing strategic sourcing support, especially within a highly regulated biotech/pharma environment. The role acts as a strategic partner to Finance and business units, leading initiatives to maximize benefits from synergies and ensure transparent benefits tracking and validation. Requirements: at least 15 years in biotech/pharma or regulated industries with senior procurement leadership experience (VP-level or equivalent), proven track record in benefits realization, benefits pipeline management, and enterprise-wide value creation. Strong stakeholder influence and leadership skills are essential, with a focus on inspiring teams, driving change, and developing future procurement leaders. High-value specifics include global sourcing, procurement performance management, benefits realization, and working within highly regulated environments. Location: Boston, MA, full-time. Salary range: $259K–$407K, with comprehensive benefits. The role demands excellent communication, organizational skills, and fluency in English, operating within a matrixed organizational structure.
