Role Summary
The Head of Patient Recruitment & Engagement will lead Alto’s global recruitment and engagement strategy across its clinical development programs. This role is responsible for designing and executing a data-driven, patient-centric recruitment model that accelerates study enrollment, enhances participant experience, and ensures operational accountability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and engagement strategy aligned with corporate and program objectives.
- Build robust analytics frameworks to measure and optimize recruitment funnel performance.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, Data Science, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
- Drive patient engagement initiatives through strategic partnerships with advocacy groups and community organizations.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all recruitment activities.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing recruitment and engagement team.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in patient recruitment, clinical operations, or related functions, including 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity within biotech, pharma, or CRO settings.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding enrollment goals using analytics-driven methodologies.
- Deep understanding of digital recruitment platforms, CRM systems, and data visualization tools.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and executive communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS, MPH, MBA, or equivalent) preferred.
