Clinical Research and Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and oversee the long-term translational strategy for the Neuromuscular Pillar, aligned with BR and TM priorities.
- Serve as a senior advisor/thought leader in neuromuscular disorders to guide program design, biomarker strategy, and patient-relevant endpoints.
- Lead global translational teams across Phase I–IIa (“Discovery” through TDP) to implement high-quality development strategies for one or more neuromuscular indications.
- Represent TM on global program teams (GPT) and decision boards; ensure neuromuscular programs meet quality, regulatory, and differentiation objectives.
- Lead design and execution of First-in-Human (FIH) and Phase IIa studies with clinical, regulatory, biomarker, and profiling partners.
- Create clinical components of key documents (e.g., Clinical Trial Protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, Clinical Study Reports, regulatory documents) with quality and consistency.
- Champion culture of empowerment, innovation, and collaboration; mentor and develop scientific talent.
- Lead external stakeholder interactions (regulators, KOLs, data monitoring committees, advisory boards) and support internal stakeholders; contribute to opportunity assessments and due diligence.

Essential Requirements:
- MD and PhD required; clinical subspecialty training in neurological diseases; deep expertise in neuromuscular disorders and gene therapies.
- 10–15+ years’ experience in translational medicine, early clinical development, or experimental therapeutics.
- Demonstrated success leading complex global programs and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to shape development strategies, execute early clinical studies, and influence regulatory packages supporting differentiation.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech company experience strongly preferred.

Desirable Requirements:
- Direct people management experience.

- Salary range: $288,400–$535,600/year (final offer based on skills/experience; may change). Performance-based cash incentive; potential annual equity awards (role-dependent).
