Head of DMPK

Your Impact / Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overarching DMPK strategy for a diverse therapeutic portfolio (primarily small molecules; adaptable to peptides, ADCs, proximity-inducing therapeutics).
- Ensure scientific rigor as programs progress from early discovery into development, including human dose projections, DDI assessments, and translational PK/PD strategies.
- Partner with Data Science/ML teams to refine predictive ADME models and improve compound prioritization and portfolio de-risking.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for high-stakes external partnerships with transparency and technical rigor.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team (active learning and rapid adaptation).
- Integrate DMPK insights with Toxicology, Translation, and Design from earliest stages of target validation and lead optimization.

Qualifications / Required:
- PhD (or equivalent) in Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism, Pharmacology, or related field.
- 15+ years in pharma/biotech with a track record moving multiple programs from Discovery to Development.
- Deep small-molecule DMPK expertise; modality experience (ADCs, proximity-inducing therapeutics, peptides) is a plus.
- Familiarity with IND submission requirements and prior regulatory navigation experience.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence.

Technical Skills:
- In vitro & in vivo ADME; contemporary PK/PD modeling; human PK and efficacious dose prediction; biotransformation/metabolic pathways.
- Manage CROs for quality data and timely delivery.
- Experience working with external collaborators (CROs, SMEs, Large Pharma).

Location & Compensation:
- Hybrid, office-based (at least 50% in office) in Salt Lake City or New York City.
- Base salary range: NYC/Boston/SF Bay Area $353,980–$443,080; Salt Lake City & other U.S. $321,800–$402,800. Eligible for annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
