Head of Data and Insights Business

Role: Entrepreneurial leader driving new data-driven product and business development at 10x Genomics, focusing on AI and multiomics data integration. Responsibilities: identify and evaluate opportunities merging 10x's biological datasets with AI innovations; translate ideas into investment proposals, develop execution plans, and lead cross-functional teams; secure senior leadership and Board alignment; oversee implementation of new offerings. Requirements: extensive experience (including 0- to 1-stage) in ideation, evaluation, go-to-market, and scaling of data or insight businesses; deep knowledge of Pharma R&D or diagnostics data needs; strong product leadership, familiarity with AI tools, and understanding of single cell/spatial genomics data; proven track record in partnership/M&A evaluation and integration; excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. Preferred: connections within AI/ML, life sciences, pharma, or clinical sectors. High-value: focus on biomedical data, spatial and single cell genomics, development-stage insights, and AI-driven data solutions. Location: Pleasanton, CA, with remote or hybrid arrangements possible.
