Operations
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain programs to ensure execution to schedule for Formulation, Filling, Inspection, and Packaging (FFIP).
- Assess and analyze operational performance vs. targets; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate performance metrics, KPIs, and operational insights to stakeholders and factory leadership.
- Define and manage internal factory interfaces for process hand-off, process ownership, inventory management, and business systems activities.
- Serve as the “voice of the factory” for operational performance; represent manufacturing needs externally.
- Interface with Operational Excellence, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Human Resources to meet factory needs.
- Manage headcount resources (Registered Headcount, Temporary Workers, and flexible staffing) aligned with budget and evolving requirements.
- Forecast staffing needs (short- and long-term) aligned to FFIP production requirements.
- Provide FFIP capacity/capability planning, including 5-year horizon long-range planning and shop-level control.
- Oversee budget and financial updates; drive actions to meet financial targets.
- Lead strategic projects driving savings and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with support groups to ensure supply to customers.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (or unrelated degree with vaccine manufacturing experience).
- Master’s degree highly preferred.
- 8+ years progressive experience in manufacturing operations/business operations related to pharma/vaccine manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional relationships as a liaison between operations and support functions.

Technical Skills:
- SAP (MM/PP preferred); Microsoft Office (advanced Excel); Master Data Governance (MDG) familiarity; BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).

Soft Skills:
- Strong analytics/problem-solving; excellent communication; influence/negotiation; facilitation; manage multiple priorities; strategic planning with data-driven tools (e.g., Plai, GenAI).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Resource management/capacity planning or business operations leadership; AI/Data Science foundations; long-range planning and budget management; operational excellence/continuous improvement; 3P (Production Preparation Process); cost savings/efficiency wins.
