Head of Asset in GU, Oncology Clinical Development

Role: Lead and oversee clinical development programs in immunology, oncology, or neuroscience, managing multiple projects and directing cross-functional teams to generate high-quality clinical data supporting product strategies. Responsibilities include designing and implementing clinical trials, ensuring study integrity, compliance with GxP, regulatory standards, and reporting safety/efficacy data. Manages clinical scientists and medical directors, mentoring and hiring, while providing scientific expertise for molecule and disease areas. Functions as a clinical expert, representing AbbVie at external scientific forums, contributing to regulatory discussions, and supporting business development activities. Requirements: MD, DO, or equivalent with 7+ years (preferably 9+) industry experience in clinical research, with strong leadership, strategic planning, and regulatory knowledge. Proven ability to lead complex programs independently and mentor teams. Preferred: subspecialty training, extensive trial methodology expertise, and experience with global regulatory interactions.
