Head of AI Transformation & Analytics, Medical Affairs + Health Impact

Role: Senior Director leading the AI transformation and analytics strategy for Medical Affairs + Health Impact at AbbVie. Responsibilities: define and implement multi-year AI, analytics, and technology roadmaps; oversee platform governance, systems maintenance, and vendor partnerships; drive insights and care gap analytics to enhance health impact; embed responsible AI and data governance; support global analytics and technology operations; develop KPIs for AI adoption and enterprise impact; position MHI as a leader in AI-driven medical affairs transformation. Requirements: advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MPH, MS in Data Science or similar); 12+ years in Medical Affairs, clinical development, HEOR, or analytics with 7+ years leading enterprise digital and AI initiatives; strong experience managing platforms, vendor relationships, and governance; deep knowledge of Medical Affairs models, evidence generation, and health impact metrics. Preferred: experience with generative AI, large language models, healthcare digital transformation, and real-world evidence; familiarity with HCP engagement and scientific communications. High-Value: focus on AI-driven insights, health impact measurement, and transformation in regulated pharma environments. Work Setup: onsite in Mettawa, IL, Tuesdays through Thursdays.
