Role Summary

Global Head Market Development & Advocacy for biologic medicine in severe asthma. Responsible for developing and implementing advocacy programs aligned to brand strategy and leading non-branded market development (PRECISION) across major global markets, with a focus on China. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to accelerate patient access and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the KEEs advocacy plan vision, strategy, tactics and operations to amplify the brand narrative within the healthcare community.
  • Collaborate with the Global brand team, SUA Clinical Expert Council and Epithelium inflammation councils to inform program strategy, develop content and deliver speaker training & events.
  • Partner with local marketing advocacy leads to integrate KEE programs into local brand advocacy plans.
  • Create and implement personalized advocacy plans for identified Global Advocates.
  • Drive the PRECISION program, including evolution of the Connect 360 PSP platform, delivering global strategy and executing across major markets.
  • Work with global and national respiratory authorities, patient groups, payors and policy stakeholders to accelerate referrals, build clinical capabilities, expand capacity and influence healthcare policy.
  • Identify potential vendors and coordinate global/local teams to deliver the program and ensure smooth implementation in key markets.
  • Define and coordinate delivery of the brand value proposition and service platform offering on Connect360 for better patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required with science expertise preferred. Secondary degree (e.g., MBA). PhD with science expertise desirable.
  • Experience: 15+ years in healthcare or biopharma, with preference for Respiratory and/or Immunology. Demonstrated engagement with external customers (KEEs, prescribers, payors). Proven success in global or local roles. Strong influencing and collaborator management at executive levels. Comfort working in a matrix environment across different countries/cultures. Experience building relationships with third parties as an AZ Ambassador at Board/Executive Committee level. Launch experience and success in building local advocacy and developing markets and brand share.
