Position Summary
- National sales leadership role and member of the Caris Commercial Leadership Team responsible for driving/directing the sales function of Liquid Product sales in an assigned geographic area.
- Develop and execute the national Caris sales strategy and build/lead an area sales team of Liquid Product Managers to meet/exceed area volume and revenue goals.
- Coordinate with national/regional leaders on direct sales and client relations in the assigned area.

Job Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed direct liquid product sales volume and revenue targets.
- Develop area sales strategy; establish senior relationships within key accounts.
- Build, train, and manage a sales team; provide marketplace feedback and competitive insights.
- Foster cross-functional relationships for product development, pipeline management, compensation plans, reporting, and forecasting.
- Communicate region revenue and advertiser relationship updates to VP, Liquid Product Management.
- Sell Liquid Product services/technology to physicians and provide practice-setting business solutions.
- Analyze opportunities; develop strategic territory sales plans; maintain client relationships.
- Understand/discuss payer environment impacts on physicians/ancillary providers.
- Negotiate sales contracts (approval required by Senior Vice President prior to implementation).
- Advise senior leadership on client/market concerns; maintain core knowledge of competitive solutions and reimbursement/billing.
- Provide post-sales service, support installations/upgrades/persistent issues; escalate when satisfaction is jeopardized.
- Maintain assigned company assets; submit required travel and activity reports/expenses/service reports.
- Support physicians with CMI platform ordering/interpretation and QC report accuracy; may require PHI access; coordinate with hospital billing on claim details.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years people leadership; strong understanding of oncology/pathology and/or liquid product diagnostic market.
- Strong client/physician relationship and decision-making under pressure.
- Proven success with large global brand marketers/agencies.
- General understanding of business policies and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
- Prior experience leading leaders.

Other
- Up to 50% travel; some evenings/weekends/holidays; occasional after-hours/emergency/on-call response.
- Ability to sit/stand long periods; lift up to 15 pounds.
