Main Responsibilities:
- Lead gap assessment, strategic planning, content development, implementation, and measurement for product training, field leadership/management training, and customer-engagement skill-based training for commercial customer-facing teams (sales and sales leadership) across all NA therapeutic areas.
- Develop and lead NA training strategy across all NA business units/therapeutic areas aligned to business unit and brand goals.
- Lead a team of 35 L&D professionals (5β7 direct reports) and develop NA learning resources/experiences (new hire curricula, new product launch planning, selling skills, field leadership development).
- Proactively assess field knowledge gaps; oversee guidance to product teams with training initiatives.
- Determine and implement innovative training delivery approaches using Global GTMC and NA Learning standards (eLearning, live meetings, virtual training).
- Ensure regulatory/legal compliance guidance is incorporated into training materials.
- Establish key metrics to track and communicate training value/impact; coordinate with NA Learning and Global GTMC to drive efficiencies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Brand, Market Access, PSS, Medical, Legal/Compliance, and offshore hub colleagues.
- Standardize customer-facing capabilities across NA BUs using One Sanofi approach; drive budgets/schedules and deliver financial budget.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 10+ years in Commercial Operations (field force learning and development).
- Bachelorβs degree required; 15+ years pharma/biotech/vaccine industry experience.
- 8+ years L&D and adult education methods; 8+ years leading large teams.
- Certified in Instructional Design preferred.
- Proven project management, budgeting/spend management, and facilitation skills.
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft (Teams, PowerPoint) for training development/facilitation/effectiveness reviews.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; stakeholder and conflict management.
- Adult learning/technology knowledge; experience deploying innovative learning solutions for large audiences.
- Ability to lead in matrix organizations, influence, coach/empower, and drive change.
