Role Summary

Group Product Director, Thought Leader Engagement, Lung Oncology - East. This is a field-based position supporting the East region with significant travel to customers and the home office in Horsham, PA. Field-based role within the United States; candidates from any location may apply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and empower the TLL team to deliver on an integrated KOL, congress and customer-centric professional education strategy
  • Oversee the national/regional thought leader speaker engagement and medical education execution
  • Continually assess competitive landscape to inform the development of strategic KOL engagement plans and innovative engagement platforms
  • Develop long-term portfolio optimization strategy through identification and development of future Lung Oncology Opinion Leaders
  • Gather and share insights on current and future market development opportunities through advisory boards and regular interactions with thought leaders in lung oncology
  • Collaborate with brand marketing to ensure alignment in strategy, execution and messaging for cross-functional market development plans for all Lung Oncology brands
  • Develop DSA and inform lifecycle management and launch readiness across brands and indications
  • Work with Brand Market Development teams to create and manage KOL database and execution metrics
  • Coordinate with Brand Marketing, Sales, Key Account Managers, Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaisons, Commercial Excellence, Corporate Communications and outside vendors to execute key commercial activities
  • Oversee plans for relevant congress participation and evaluate support for regional sponsorships

The Business Director must develop, retain and motivate direct reports and support HR planning, management development and training to meet current and future business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of business experience; at least 4 years of demonstrated team leadership experience preferred
  • Clinical acumen in oncology/lung and/or biology/scientific background highly preferred
  • Demonstrated people management experience required
  • Previous pharma sales or sales management experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies preferred
  • Innovative, proactive, and strong analytical with excellent overall business acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to work in a matrix/unstructured environment, and strategic thinking
  • Ability to assess brand needs across the portfolio with brand leadership
  • Ability to identify and outline best-in-class medical education programs across the oncology portfolio
  • Strategic thinking required; ability to operate with big-picture focus and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Valid United States driver's license

Travel: Field-based; up to 40-50% travel within the US, with limited international travel.
