Group Leader - Pheresis

Role: Phlebotomy/Plasma Donation Technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, donor monitoring, and ensuring product quality and donor safety. Responsibilities include venipuncture, vein evaluation, donor education, reaction management, equipment troubleshooting, data recording, and maintaining a clean work environment. Provides technical training to staff and supports center operations by managing donor flow and supplies. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; 18+ months experience in healthcare or medical setting preferred; specialized medical or phlebotomy training advantageous. High-value specifics: involves blood/plasma collection adhering to FDA and SOP guidelines; may include hyperimmune program policies; requires proficiency with electronic donor management systems. Work environment involves exposure to hazards, requiring PPE, extended standing, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting. Overtime and extended hours may be necessary to support operational needs.
