Role: Phlebotomist or Plasma Collection Technician responsible for performing pheresis procedures, donor monitoring, and ensuring product quality and donor safety. Responsibilities: execute plasma collection following SOPs and FDA guidelines, educate donors, troubleshoot equipment, record incidents and donor data accurately, monitor donor flow, manage supplies, and support center operations. Maintain a clean, safe environment, adhere to safety policies, and handle equipment calibrations and maintenance. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 months' experience in healthcare or medical environment preferred; specialized medical or phlebotomy training advantageous. High-Value: Focus on plasma donation, adherence to FDA and GxP standards, potential involvement in hyperimmune programs, and exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Work involves standing, manual dexterity, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in a fast-paced setting with PPE requirements. Physical and mental attributes include routine decision-making, effective communication, and adaptability to extended hours and overtime as needed.
