Group Leader, Environmental Risk Assessor

Role: Lead the Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) group within Lilly, overseeing strategy, quality, and delivery of environmental studies for pharmaceutical assets. Responsibilities: direct the design and execution of ERAs, ensure regulatory compliance, manage CRO partnerships, and foster innovation in PiE science; advise manufacturing on discharge limits; communicate ERA strategy to leadership and external stakeholders; lead governance and influence regulatory guidelines. Requirements: PhD in environmental or natural sciences; 15+ years in chemical risk assessment, with expertise in environmental toxicology/fate, OECD studies, and GLPs; proven scientific communication skills.
