Job Description
Performs all responsibilities outlined in the Cleaning Specialist Grade 02 Job Description and Production Cleaning Specialist Grade 2 Job Description. Supervises, directs and guides daily work assignments of personnel. Plans schedule and coordinates personnel operation and logistics activities. Performs basic office work and provides customer service. Performs microbial control cleaning procedures compliant with current cGMP and regulatory guidelines, including auditable documentation. Work performed under general supervision of an area Supervisor or Section Manager.
Responsibilities
- Directs in-plant work activity of personnel.
- Maintains and reviews department records and submits reports to supervisor.
- Investigates, follows-up and resolves customer requests and/or complaints.
- Ensures facilities are clean and well maintained according to cGMP standards.
- Ensures proper utilization of supplies and equipment and its maintenance.
- Conducts BOP training and instructions on safety and equipment usage.
- Performs safety and preventive maintenance inspections on housekeeping power equipment and small tools; wears approved PPE.
- Performs cross-contamination cleaning methods in microbial control areas.
- Completes cGMP documentation of training/cleaning on paper and electronic devices.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read/comprehend Corporate Quality Documents, Operating Procedures, and Safety Guidelines; comply with cGMP; write accurate, legible English records on paper and electronic devices.
- Basic knowledge of English and mathematics.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships; knowledge of department functions/cleaning procedures.
- Plan/organize/schedule/coordinate job activities; direct and train personnel.
- 3 years’ experience as a Cleaning Specialist/Environmental Cleaning Specialist/Production Cleaning Specialist.
- Ability to operate a computer for required compliance/technical training.
- Ability to work alone or as a team and perform cleaning specialist functions.
- Physical requirements include standing 7 hours/shift and lifting up to 35–50 lbs multiple times per shift.
