What You Will Do
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the continuous improvement of Occupational Health programming.
- Support the implementation of new elements within an industrial ergonomics program.
- Assist with Ergonomics program support, including performing ergonomic assessments.
- Assist in assessing ergonomic risk factors and implementing control strategies.
- Perform data review and trend analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Expect of You
Basic Qualifications:
- 18 years or older.
- Graduated with a bachelorβs degree from an accredited college or university.
- Currently enrolled in an MBA, Masterβs, PharmD, or PhD program (with completion of the first year before the internship starts).
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment.
- Must not be employed at the time the internship starts.
- Located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree concentrations in Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental and Occupational Health, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or Physical Therapy.
- Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools.
- Applied knowledge of Cal/OSHA, OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Working knowledge of ergonomic principles and practices.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Computer literate including MS Office Suite.
Compensation/Benefits
- Base pay range (U.S.): $30β$40 per hour.
