Role: GMP Utility Engineer supporting biopharmaceutical water, steam, and utility systems at AbbVie's Worcester, MA site. Responsibilities include managing GMP utilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting operations, troubleshooting, system reliability improvements, and overseeing utility-related projects from scope to validation. The engineer also supports audits and inspections, develops documentation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams for system upgrades and modifications. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, or related discipline; 5+ years of engineering/operational experience, preferably in biopharma, healthcare, or biologics; strong technical knowledge of GMP utilities, systems, and project management; experience with regulatory compliance, validation, and troubleshooting. Preferred: Post-graduate degree, experience in health care or biologics industries, and familiarity with fiscal control systems. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Work setup: On-site in Worcester, MA.
