GENERAL DESCRIPTION
GMP Cleaning Associate (second shift). Perform professional cleaning of GMP manufacturing clinical and commercial areas. Maintain cleanliness in production, lab, and warehouse areas while adhering to safety and quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform sanitary cleaning activities per established operating procedures and as directed by Manager/Supervisor
- Stock and stage usable garments for multiple gowning rooms
- Maintain accurate and complete records
- Attend and complete all required training per company SOPs, procedures, and policies
- Maintain accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies to prevent depletion
- Work safely and effectively in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations
- Perform other tasks/duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years’ experience in sterile or GMP cleaning operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Ability to don and wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment (e.g., gowning, goggles, face shields, protective gloves)
- Ability to wear a respirator during use of certain cleaning chemicals
- Ability to operate in ISO Class/Grade clean rooms
- Occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds
- Squat, bend, kneel, and/or reach for 80% of a shift
- Stand/walk/move about for 80% of a shift
DESIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Familiarity with cGMPs, regulatory guidelines, and SOPs
- Clean room sanitization experience (plus)
