Director, T1D (T1D Market Access Lead) β Global Value and Access Strategy (GVAS), Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead payer strategic planning to optimize value and access for early-stage T1D pipeline assets
- Develop and refine Market Access strategies and Global P&R deliverables across cross-functional, cross-regional commercialization processes
- Own Global Payer Plans integrating value evidence generation, strategic pricing, value communications, and stakeholder engagement to support reimbursement and pricing
- Ensure payer positions are represented to internal stakeholders and inform commercialization/development decisions
- Support strategies with market research, environmental data, and commercial/clinical analogs
- Inform financial forecasts
- Partner with HEOR and Global Marketing to optimize value propositions and integrated evidence plans for global access
- Lead capability-building and thought-leadership projects for the evolving global payer environment
- Monitor industry and adjust Market Access plans based on market trends, competition, product acceptance, and new releases
- Collaborate with HEOR, International P&R, Corporate Affairs, US Managed Markets, Countries, Marketing, and Clinical Development teams
Qualifications:
- 8+ years direct biotech/pharma industry and/or payer experience
- Strong knowledge of US and ex-US healthcare systems
- Strategic thinker with ability to make pricing/market access recommendations
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills and understanding of pricing & reimbursement/HEOR principles
- General commercialization and drug development experience; Cell & Gene Therapy preferred
- Strong cross-functional matrix collaboration
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationship building across geographies
Education:
- BA/BS in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
