Role Summary

Global Therapeutic Area Head, Dermatology - Immunology. Location: Cambridge, MA. Lead the Global Dermatology Immunology therapeutic area within the Immunology Franchise Leadership Team, overseeing asset strategy from PoCC to Wave 1 launches and serving as Asset Strategy Lead for Amlitelimab and Brivekimig.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive disease area strategy and co-positioning narrative for multiple assets within the same disease area to maximize value.
  • Lead market development, shaping strategy, pre-launch and launch plans in partnership with Tier 1 countries and Global Brand Teams.
  • Direct institutional learning and market shaping by commissioning rapid insights, engaging with KOLs and patient advocacy groups and leaders.
  • Partner with SILC Ex to ensure launch readiness, lead launch readiness reviews with senior management, and address strategic barriers and opportunities.
  • Drive Global P&L accountability and lead strategic/financial planning, developing sales and expense forecasts.
  • Establish and execute vision for launch brands and provide executive leadership to Global Brand Teams for Amlitelimab, Lunsekimig and Rilzabrutnib, coordinating value, access, patient advocacy, medical and commercial activities with US and key markets.
  • Mobilize TA BLs/IBLs and GBTs to support Tier 2+ country launches after Tier 1 markets launch.
  • Partner with global project teams and NPP teams to provide commercial direction on pipeline planning and product development strategy.
  • Support program teams through governance processes, providing TA business leadership within the franchise, R&D and investment committees.
  • Understand and communicate regulatory, market access, and market differentiation requirements for commercialization of new products.
  • Spearhead partnerships with NPP, BD and M&A teams to align BD roadmap with TA strategy and evaluate commercial synergies.
  • Build and develop a best-in-class team and foster cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, MS or PhD in life sciences preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience across functions (sales, marketing, MA, BD, NPP, etc.), including US/key markets, with focus on Dermatology Immunology and related areas; strong stakeholder knowledge required.
  • Leadership and brand management experience in US/key markets (e.g., Franchise Head, GM) required.
  • Current or prior experience managing global brands preferred.
  • Launch and pre-launch experience in US/key markets required.
  • Strong P&L management credibility.
  • Cross-functional leadership and ability to drive decisions with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement abilities with partnerships, patient organizations, and scientific institutions required.
  • Ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment with marketing, market research, market access, medical affairs, regulatory, R&D, manufacturing, finance and legal.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; ability to present strategy, opportunities and risks to executives.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required; valid passport and international travel ability.
