Responsibilities:
- Manage balanced project assignments; manage publications planning/operations for a selected franchise/product.
- Expand company-wide publication visibility/training; ensure Publication Managers’ involvement in all activities.
- Provide a single company-wide publication vision; ensure compliance with Sanofi policy and Good Publication Practices.
- Oversee resources/collaboration (day-to-day operational management, medical writing, editing, graphics, journal/congress submissions) with Sanofi Global BO/Hub.
- Represent Vaccine Medical in relevant scientific/publications communities and in iEnvision/tool implementations; update publication-related SOPs/policies.
- Optimize team workflow; manage accurate, timely project budgeting; maintain vendor network for high-quality outsourcing.
- Lead publication plan development/updates and governance informed by iEGP and aligned to GMR; maintain the Smart Publications Handbook.
- Provide day-to-day team management, coaching/mentoring, leadership development, and performance/planning support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior scientific/medical publications management experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of publication regulations, recommendations, best practices, technologies/formats/guidelines.
- Vaccines or public health experience (advantage).
- Significant pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in medical affairs.
- Proven internal/external relationship building; proactive collaboration and team-player mindset.
- Multinational team experience; people management (advantage).
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences/Public Health/related; MS/MD/PhD/PharmD preferred.
- 5+ years pharma industry experience, including 3+ years medical publications.
Technical Skills:
- Strong ICMJE and good publication practice guideline knowledge.
- Excellent project management skills.
