Role: Global Robotic Systems Application Engineer supporting 3M's Abrasive Systems Division and Coated Abrasive Belt portfolio, focusing on new product commercialization and application development. Responsibilities: engineer and optimize robotic abrasive solutions for automotive manufacturing, support build, installation, startup, and troubleshooting at customer sites, develop new automation methods, and collaborate on new solution development. Includes global coordination of field trials, customer training via e-media, and shaping industry standards. Requirements: Bachelorβs degree or higher in Science or Engineering, with at least 2 years of robotics system design, integration, programming, or application experience; experience working with automotive manufacturing customers preferred. Additional skills in electrical troubleshooting, robotic programming, and working on customer sites are advantageous.
