Clinical Research and Development
Position Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with the Portfolio Strategy Lead to support marketing and medical responsibilities as needed.
- Drive species innovation strategy, therapeutic area reviews, new product and lifecycle planning.
- Contribute to identification and assessment of potential acquisitions aligned to established strategy.
- Track emerging technologies, trends, and competition.
- Lead new product and lifecycle projects through portfolio milestones.
- Manage global launch marketing activities: brand development (positioning, core messaging, materials, communication plan), pricing (market research, business case), forecasting (0–10 year pipeline assets), and global launch scenarios and planning.
- Manage global launch medical activities: develop technical documentation for market use and the medical component of the global launch plan, including disclosure planning (KOL engagement, publications, major congresses).
- Ensure the global materials’ repository is populated with key asset materials aligned to strategies and leveraged globally.

Education & Experience:
- BS/BA and relevant experience required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of related experience with demonstrated success in branding, strategy development, asset/market development, and communications management.
- Excellent knowledge of commercial operations in the animal health industry (desirable).
- Extensive capabilities as a commercial/marketing leader (ideally senior strategic or operational marketing).
- P&L and operating budget management; strong financial analysis skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute brand strategies to meet market share and revenue targets.
- Team player/player/coach; ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to oversee complex cross-functional projects with many internal/external stakeholders.

Professional Experience/Capabilities:
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and negotiation/persuasion skills.
- Expertise in marketing disciplines: brand management, market research, communications strategy, customer insight, marketing material development.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office; ability to learn Zoetis systems).
- Good judgment; ability to influence peers; strong networking relationships.
