Role Summary

Global Partnership Supply Manager role focused on driving Amgen's external collaborations to support commercial expansion and pipeline advancement. You will lead process standardization, integration, and continuous improvement across Partner functions, finance, and Global Supply Chain, and manage a Partnership portfolio to maximize operating performance and strategic value. The role requires analytical thinking, financial foresight, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end Partnership Supply process documentation and standardization efforts.
  • Own the Partnership Supply OneNote with training, standard methodologies, and process details, ensuring accuracy, updates, and continued use of the tool.
  • Own, review, and update Partnership Supply SOPs, GDEs, and other CDOCS material in addition to managing Partnership Supply Assignment Vehicle (AV) and TAP Process.
  • Perform periodic reviews of Partnership Supply team training and onboarding requirements.
  • Work with the Global Partnership Supply team to identify and enable opportunities for business process improvement in conjunction with cross-functional global groups.
  • Sustain effective working relationships with Partner Accounting, Operations Finance, JAPAC Finance, Partner Alliance Quality, Global Supply Chain teams, as well as other Operations and cross-functional teams.
  • Optimize and integrate Partnership Supply processes into larger Amgen activities including Order-to-Cash, SAP Customer and Master Data management, Launch and LCM activities, and Supply and Demand to avoid risk of supply disruptions, reduce churn, and drive right first time.
  • Representative for Global Partnership Supply on larger initiatives within Global Supply Chain or Operations.
  • Drive Partnership Supply business performance reviews and execution of associated metrics with development of key insights to be communicated through management including Launch and Variations, Demand Adherence and Variance, and On-Time In-Full (OTIF).
  • Develop, manage, and report performance metrics for partnered product portfolio using Smartsheet and Tableau.
  • Create and maintain metric dashboards to support communication of key business insights and risks to line management.
  • Apply SAP ECC and RapidResponse to pull necessary information on shipment actuals and demand projections.
  • Maintain Anaplan tool, ensuring Partner onboarding, while delivering Demand Performance Metrics using Anaplan metrics reports.

Qualifications

  • Required: Doctorate degree in Business, Engineering and/or Supply Chain OR Master’s degree in Business, Engineering and/or Supply Chain and 2 years of experience in supply chain roles, process improvement, and other directly related experiences OR Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering and/or Supply Chain and 4 years of experience in supply chain roles, process improvement, and other directly related experiences OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of directly related experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of directly related experience.
  • Preferred: Understand and apply core supply chain principles and concepts to support process standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Preferred: Engage diverse, global partners to lead cross-functional process improvements and projects—driving decisions and issue resolution by balancing multiple perspectives, often without direct authority.
  • Preferred: Anticipate challenges and find opportunities for ongoing enhancement, delivering solutions for problems of moderate complexity while fostering hard-working teams.
  • Preferred: Leverage strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills—including financial analysis—to handle large data sets, reconcile reports, resolve data integrity issues, and develop valuable solutions by integrating information from multiple sources.
  • Preferred: Design, maintain, and report on key performance metrics (e.g., on-time in-full delivery, demand forecast variability) using ERP systems (SAP) and RapidResponse and dashboard tools such as Excel, Tableau, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Preferred: Manage day-to-day operations in a high-performance environment with minimal supervision, proactively communicating issues, risks, and action plans to management and team members.
  • Preferred: Distill complex information into concise, logical messages—verbal and written—tailored for both prepared presentations and ad hoc discussions across all organizational levels.
