Role Summary

Global Medical Associate Director, Early Pipeline Respiratory, Global Medical Immunology (Morristown, NJ). This role leads the medical strategy for rhinology (CRSwNP) within the early pipeline respiratory portfolio and supports real-world evidence (RWE) studies. You will collaborate with respiratory medical directors to develop integrated evidence generation plans, oversee study execution and publication planning, and ensure alignment with clinical, regulatory, market access, and commercial teams to enable global launch readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive global medical strategies for CRSwNP aligned with overall respiratory therapeutic area objectives.
  • Lead integrated evidence generation plans (IEGP) for rhinology, including supporting countries for development.
  • Inform clinical development plans and study designs to ensure differentiation and patient-relevant endpoints.
  • Lead the development of high-quality scientific content and global medical narratives for CRSwNP and support pipeline respiratory assets.
  • Collaborate with Scientific Communications and Publications teams to support publication strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global thought leaders in rhinology and identify emerging KOLs to facilitate scientific exchange and gather insights.
  • Represent the medical team at advisory boards, scientific meetings, and external engagements.
  • Lead evidence generation efforts, including the design and conduct of RWE studies (observational, prospective, claims database).
  • Contribute to study analysis planning to ensure scientific rigor and relevance of outcomes.
  • Lead the planning and execution of medical education initiatives for CRSwNP.
  • Support the IMMERSE program for rhinology.
  • Support the expanded utilization and enhancement of Immunolab in rhinology.
  • Provide medical expertise to cross-functional teams including Clinical, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial.
  • Collaborate with regional medical teams to ensure global-local alignment, strategic execution, and best practice sharing.

Qualifications

  • Required: Significant rhinology/respiratory/immunology experience.
  • Required: 7+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Required: Experience launching biological products (regional or global).
  • Required: Demonstrated experience in KOL engagement (local and global), with understanding of clinical/RWE studies at global or regional levels.
  • Required: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Required: Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally with all stakeholders.
  • Required: Experience of global-to-local and local-to-global engagement.

Education

  • Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PharmD or equivalent, MD, or PhD).
