Role Summary

Global Marketing Director, Oncology. Translate science into commercial success across the product lifecycle, driving competitive product profiles and building long-term brand value in partnership with the cross-functional medicines development team.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable to develop brand strategy and deliver launch/brand plan in accordance with the Integrated Asset Plan across patient, healthcare professional, and payer segments, in partnership with cross-functional partners and LOCs to execute the strategy and achieve the sales ambition.
  • Understand, value, and prioritize sources of differentiation by leveraging cross-functional insights and emerging data, informing strategies and competitive launches.
  • Develop strategic choices (positioning, segmentation, targeting) and promotional strategies for the asset.
  • Partner with Insights to deliver Global Forecast aligned to strategy, with recommended assumptions and inputs.
  • Elucidate required SG&A and commercial model to optimize asset performance in global markets.
  • Lead lifecycle management strategy to drive additional value, launch sequencing, and market approaches.
  • Lead RFP/Pitch and agency selection for the brand’s Agency of Record; onboard and manage AOR and key projects related to brand development (customer journey, personas, brand identity, value proposition, messaging, campaigns) in collaboration with co-creation markets and via MOC.
  • Drive LOC engagement strategy and manage global commercial budget and LOC planning inputs.
  • Foster a culture of trust, respect, transparency, and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in oncology
  • 3+ years of experience in the US market or a Tier 1 market
  • 2–3 days per week in the office
  • Senior marketing experience in the US or tier 1 market with multiple launches (preferred)
  • Recent launch experience at global/regional/LOC level with experience working across global to local (or vice versa) (preferred)
  • Led development of brand imagery, insights, segmentation, core campaigns, and co-create experiences (preferred)
  • Experience leading medicines at different lifecycle stages (early assets, R&D collaboration, late-stage assets) (preferred)
