What You Will Do
- Drive strategy and execution on products across the product lifecycle; maximize value within key indications for a New Molecular Entity.
- Provide commercial guidance/vision; develop global launch strategies.
- Anticipate lifecycle management opportunities to enhance customer experience and competitive position; optimize marketing budget impact.
- Provide commercial insight for the lead indication and expansion into other solid tumors; ensure development is planned with the future market in mind.
- Apply insights/market learnings into commercial strategy.
- Work with integrated brand teams and selected local countries to integrate local market insights.
- Support portfolio initiatives including diagnostics/biomarkers, tumor-level patient insights, patient-centric development, journeys/preferences, and lifecycle management planning.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Develop “gold standard” commercial strategy based on customer/marketplace/competitor/business driver insights.
- Support Insights and Brand teams/global marketing; ensure portal decisions are backed by robust commercial assessment (portfolio fit/organizational impact).
- Ensure marketing deliverables are on time/quality; contribute to Global Product Strategy, competitive insights, patient-centric deliverables, Target Product Profiles, Forecasts, and LCM value strategies.
- Communicate commercial vision for disease-state and assigned brand.
What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate + 4 years marketing OR Master’s + 7 years OR Bachelor’s + 9 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA with life sciences background; 8+ years in increasing-scope commercial roles.
- Experience building/implementing innovative global marketing/commercial strategies; launching and repositioning therapeutic products.
- Strategic marketing foundation; market insight generation/application.
- Strong oncology and solid tumor immuno-oncology experience; knowledge of science, market trends, and future opportunities.
- “Beyond the molecule” value drivers (e.g., patient services).
- Global responsibilities; experience living/working outside the U.S.; understanding of global market dynamics.
- Cross-functional leadership in matrix environments; global project management.
- Scientifically curious mind.
