Role Summary
Global IT Sourcing Associate will be part of the Global IT Procurement team, partnering with IT stakeholders and indirect procurement peers to drive competitive advantage through category expertise, strategic sourcing, and supplier management. You will influence business requirements, analyze spend, and apply marketplace best practices to optimize IT procurement strategy, balancing strategy, operations, and transactional sourcing while supporting enterprise-wide IT purchasing and supplier engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for IT hardware, software, and services, including competitive bid processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), negotiations, and contracting
- Process and manage IT purchase requests end-to-end (quoting, requisitions, approvals, contracting, order processing, licensing, and delivery)
- Own functional Category, Supplier and sourcing strategies.
- Key SPOC for business function leaders, to ascertain opportunities and priorities.
- Negotiate enterprise IT supplier agreements (MSAs, SOWs, PSAs) in partnership with Legal, InfoSec, Data Privacy, and Risk teams to ensure policy compliance
- Drive total cost of ownership reductions through supplier rationalization, value engineering, re-sourcing, and negotiation initiatives
- Analyze spend data and support procurement systems and integration efforts (e.g., Ariba, Power BU), maintaining centralized contract and procurement records
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 2 years of IT strategic sourcing experience in procurement, supply chain, and/or operations management
- Required: Top 2 skills: IT contract negotiation & supplier management, data-driven spend analysis and sourcing strategy
- Preferred: Global business experience in strategic sourcing, operations management, or finance
- Preferred: Project management experience and understanding of strategic sourcing value levers
- Preferred: Experience managing global third-party supplier relationships and complex negotiations
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change
- Preferred: Professional certifications such as C.P.M., APICS, or CPIM
Education
- Bachelorβs Degree in Business (Finance or Supply Chain), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Additional Requirements
- Travel: 10β15% annually, possibly international
