Responsibilities (What You Will Do):
- Improve scientific validity and external applicability of clinical research by grounding study populations and enrollment in population-level data and real-world disease treatment.
- Translate epidemiology/real-world data into study strategies (burden-aligned enrollment targets, geographic planning, site selection).
- Evaluate alignment between trial and real-world populations; identify gaps to improve study design/execution.
- Partner with clinical study teams on study design and feasibility decisions.
- Operationalize enrollment strategies addressing structural participation gaps across care settings.
- Contribute to regulatory deliverables, including Diversity Action Plans (DAPs).
- Integrate community-based care settings (referral pathways, site network strategies).
- Develop tools/analytics/dashboards for enrollment, site performance, and access.
- Track/analyze enrollment performance vs. population-informed targets; recommend mitigations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address operational/structural barriers.
- Provide guidance/training on population-science, data-driven clinical trial execution.
- Manage external partnerships (sites, health systems, community organizations).
- Represent externally in forums/conferences.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate + 2 years clinical research/public health OR Master’s + 4 years OR Bachelor’s + 6 years OR Associate’s + 10 years OR HS/GED + 12 years.
Preferred:
- Epidemiology/real-world data to operational/clinical strategy; strong clinical trial design/feasibility; influence stakeholders; regulatory enrollment planning (e.g., DAPs); real-world data/site/health system integration; thrive building capabilities in evolving environments.
