Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a differentiated global science storytelling strategy aligned with enterprise and R&D priorities.
- Partner with senior R&D leaders to translate complex science into compelling, audience-focused narratives.
- Drive global media engagement to position the organization as a leader in scientific innovation.
- Leverage data, insights, and analytics to shape predictive, outcome-focused communication strategies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global communications team, fostering continuous learning and growth.
- Integrate AI-enabled tools to enhance communication effectiveness, reach, and efficiency.
- Optimize resources and budgets to maximize impact across communications channels.

Qualifications / Required
- Extensive communications experience, including leadership roles within global, matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/life sciences R&D lifecycle.
- Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence at leadership level.
- Demonstrated expertise in media relations and building global media strategies.
- Experience using data and insights to develop outcome-focused, measurable communication approaches.
- Knowledge of AI trends and their impact on communications and information visibility.
- Track record of building/leading/developing high-performing teams in complex environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Desirable
- Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s in a science degree.
