Role Summary
The Global Head of Learning Innovation leads Sanofi’s learning transformation, shaping strategies to build skills, enable growth, and keep the organization competitive in a fast-evolving landscape. This role connects global trends, emerging technologies, and best-in-class learning practices with the needs of our business and employees. It is a strategic, cross-functional role that partners with Learning, P&C, Digital, Procurement, and the business to design the learner experience of the future. Based in Morristown, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Own the global learning innovation strategy along with the CLO, shaping a portfolio of high-impact, future-focused solutions.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends (AI, microlearning, adaptive technologies, immersive modalities) and translate them into scalable initiatives aligned with priorities.
- Drive a culture of experimentation and agility across the learning ecosystem.
- Reimagine the learner experience by designing programs and platforms that are personalized, engaging, and outcomes-driven.
- Lead the integration of technologies such as LMS/LXP, VR/AR, and analytics to enable adaptive, data-informed learning journeys.
- Champion the adoption of learning tools that differentiate our offerings.
- Act as a connector across the enterprise, aligning with internal and external partners to embed learning into the flow of work.
- Cultivate relationships with edTech innovators, academic institutions, and global networks to bring new thinking into the organization.
- Establish systems and processes that enable innovation to scale across geographies, audiences, and platforms.
- Manage pilots through enterprise adoption, ensuring high-quality design, localized execution, and measurable impact.
- Oversee vendor partnerships, technology integration, and internal capability building.
- Define success metrics for learning innovation linking engagement and skill development to business outcomes.
- Use data, research, and user feedback to continuously improve offerings and influence strategic decisions, sharing insights with senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree; Masters or MBA preferred.
- Required: 10+ years of experience in learning, innovation, or digital transformation—ideally in complex, global organizations.
- Required: Deep understanding of learning technologies, instructional design, and human-centered design.
- Required: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and translate vision into execution.
- Required: Strong grasp of change management, agile delivery, and enterprise enablement.
- Preferred: Passion for shaping inclusive, high-impact learning experiences that move the business forward.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required; Masters or MBA preferred.

- Travel up to 30% domestic and international.
