Role Summary

Global Head HEOR, ViiV. Location: London, United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a global team and shape the future of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) at ViiV Healthcare, a GSK company. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to generate robust evidence that demonstrates the value of our medicines to patients, healthcare systems, and payers worldwide. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, market access, and commercial, to ensure evidence generation aligns with business priorities and patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HEOR Strategy: Develop and implement global HEOR strategies to support the value proposition of our medicines across their lifecycle
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with research and development, medical, market access, and commercial teams to integrate HEOR insights into development plans and market strategies
  • Generate Evidence: Oversee the design and execution of health economic models, real-world evidence studies, and patient-reported outcomes research
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Represent ViiV in discussions with external stakeholders, including payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, and academic experts, to ensure alignment on evidence needs
  • Support Market Access: Provide HEOR input for reimbursement submissions and value dossiers to secure patient access in key markets
  • Develop the Team: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global HEOR team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning

Qualifications

  • Required: Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD, PharmD) in health economics, epidemiology, public health, or a related field
  • Required: Significant experience in health economics, outcomes research, or related discipline within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Required: Proven track record of successful reimbursement submissions in multiple markets
  • Required: Strong understanding of global HTA and payer requirements
  • Required: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
  • Required: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Preferred: Experience in global or regional roles, with a focus on evidence generation for innovative therapies
  • Preferred: Direct experience engaging with HTA bodies or payers
  • Preferred: Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience in developing and mentoring diverse teams
