Role Summary
The Global Finance Category Lead for Pain, Sleep & Lifestyle is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving financial performance, planning, and decision support across a portfolio of wellness-focused brands and products. This role partners closely with commercial, supply chain, R&D, and cluster finance teams to ensure optimal resource allocation, profitability, and strategic growth across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Category Financial Leadership: Own the financial strategy and performance management for the Pain, Sleep & Lifestyle category globally.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation, pricing, portfolio optimization, and go-to-market strategies.
- Planning & Forecasting: Lead long-range planning for the category.
- Performance Analysis: Deliver insights on revenue, margin, and cost drivers; identify risks and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
- Investment Support: Evaluate business cases for new product launches, marketing investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and global reporting standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present financial results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and category teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements, digital finance tools adoption, and analytics capabilities.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
- Required: 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in consumer health, FMCG, or wellness sectors.
- Required: Experience in global category management or regional finance leadership roles.
- Preferred: Familiarity with wellness categories such as OTC pain relief, sleep aids, supplements, or lifestyle products.
- Preferred: Experience supporting innovation pipelines and global product launches.
- Preferred: Knowledge of regulatory and market dynamics across key regions (e.g., North America, EMEA, APAC).
