Responsibilities include shaping trial design, providing scientific and medical input, ensuring compliance with GCP and regulatory standards, overseeing safety monitoring, and supporting regulatory submissions such as NDAs/BLA filings. The role entails cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Project Teams, Medical Affairs, and external investigators, as well as mentoring less experienced staff and possibly managing physicians or scientists. Qualifications: MD or equivalent with hematology-oncology specialization, minimum 4 years of relevant industry or academic clinical research experience, board certification preferred. Requires deep knowledge of oncology/hematology drug development, GCP, regulatory processes, and clinical trial operations. High-value specifics: focus on hematological cancers, involvement across early to late-phase clinical trials, and contribution to pipeline progression and lifecycle management. The position is hybrid, based in Gaithersburg, MD, with flexibility for candidates in Boston, South San Francisco, or Barcelona, and involves minimum 3 days in-office per week.
