Global Development Medical Director, Late Respiratory and Immunology Clinical Development

Role: Global Development Medical Director overseeing late-stage (Ph2b to Ph4) clinical development of respiratory and immunology therapies at AstraZeneca. Responsibilities include providing medical and scientific leadership in trial design, interpretation, and regulatory interactions; supporting clinical monitoring; developing study protocols; and engaging with external scientific experts. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams such as Patient Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Operations, primarily focusing on late-stage clinical programs while supporting early-stage studies. Requirements include an MD or MD/PhD with 3+ years of industry or clinical research experience, strong partnership skills, and fluency in English.
