Role: Global Development Medical Director providing medical and scientific leadership for late-stage (Ph2b to Ph4) respiratory and immunology clinical programs. Responsibilities: guide clinical trial design, oversee medical monitoring, interpret data, develop regulatory documents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety, and Clinical Operations. Establish external expert networks, support scientific publications and presentations, and contribute to overall benefit-risk assessment of AstraZeneca’s compounds. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD with 3+ years of industry or clinical research experience; strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills; fluency in English. Preferred: background in Pulmonary, Immunology, or Allergy. High-Value: late-stage development, respiratory and immunology indications, cross-functional global collaboration, regulatory engagement, scientific publication, and trial oversight. Work setup: flexible in-office presence, based on AstraZeneca’s hybrid model.
