Role: Global Development Lead (GDL) overseeing clinical development for Internal Medicine assets at Pfizer, serving as the primary clinical authority on the Global Medicine Team. Responsibilities: lead cross-functional teams (clinical, pharmacology, stats, safety, commercial, operations), develop and endorse clinical development plans, design protocols, and support regulatory submissions including product labels and safety reports. Key partner in trial governance, data review, and external stakeholder engagement; may lead additional late-stage trial activities within obesity and other portfolios; may provide medical monitoring support. Qualifications: BS with 12+ years or PhD with 7+ years in clinical/industry settings; extensive cardiometabolic late-stage development experience, particularly in type 2 diabetes; strong regulatory, ICH/GCP knowledge, and team management skills. High-value: expertise in metabolic disorders, global regulatory strategy, late-stage clinical trials, and cross-functional leadership. Work setup: hybrid role requiring onsite presence (~2.5 days/week), up to 30% travel; relocation support available.
