Responsibilities:
- Serve as single clinical point of accountability for clinical development of assigned asset(s); lead cross-functional Clinical Development Team.
- Create and obtain endorsement for the Clinical Development Plan and associated protocol design documents.
- Lead global clinical development (incl. China/Japan) and develop pediatric investigation/study plan and protocols.
- Provide therapy area/indication expertise (e.g., CRF design, signal interpretation, adverse event contextualization).
- Contribute to target product profile(s); support clinical/regulatory activities (labels, core data sheets, Investigator Brochures, DSUR, PBRER, Development Safety Update Reports, Periodic Benefit-Risk Evaluation Reports).
- Lead/coordinate governance reviews; develop digital/innovation and patient engagement strategies.
- Partner on trial-level statistical analysis plan, TLFs, tables/listings/figures, and database release.
- Develop submission deliverables (IAP/IARP, submission TLFs) and lead SCE/SCS; review/approve submission-level safety narrative plan.
- Support product label development/maintenance; interpret and communicate trial data.
- Engage external stakeholders (ad boards, steering committees, DMC, adjudication committees, patients/advocates) to inform strategy.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external regulatory standards; review IIR proposals.

Basic Qualifications:
- MD or DO.
- 8+ years clinical research/development experience in academia and/or biopharma.
- Strong knowledge of global/regional regulation, ICH/GCP, adverse event management; strong clinical/administrative/project management and communication.
- Demonstrated experience managing/training large clinical development teams; designing/launching large teams preferred.
- Cardiologist strongly preferred, with cardiovascular outcome trials or large complex global development programs.

Work/Environment:
- Up to 30% travel; hybrid (live within commuting distance; ~2.5 days/week on-site); relocation support available.
