Role: Global Development Lead (GDL) overseeing clinical development for Pfizer's Internal Medicine assets, especially in cardiometabolic areas like type 2 diabetes. Responsibilities: lead cross-functional clinical teams, develop and endorse comprehensive clinical development plans, design protocols, and oversee global regulatory submissions; provide therapeutic and clinical expertise, support trial design and execution, and ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards. The GDL also partners with external stakeholders, contributes to regulatory documents, and supports labeling and safety reporting. Requirements: MD or DO with 8+ years in clinical research, preferably as an endocrinologist or internal medicine physician with cardiometabolic expertise; extensive knowledge of global regulation, ICH/GCP, and clinical trial processes; proven leadership in matrix environments. Preferred: experience managing large teams, designing innovative clinical strategies, and working in late-stage development.
