Role: Global Development Lead (GDL) overseeing clinical development for Pfizer's Internal Medicine assets, including research and late-stage programs in obesity and cardiometabolic diseases. Responsibilities: lead cross-functional clinical teams, develop and endorse comprehensive Clinical Development Plans and protocols, support regulatory submissions (including pediatric plans), and contribute to product labeling and safety documentation. Serve as an internal expert, providing strategic input on target profiles, data review, and external stakeholder engagement. Requirements: MD or DO with 8+ years of clinical research experience in endocrinology or internal medicine, particularly in cardiometabolic or type 2 diabetes, with extensive knowledge of global regulations, ICH/GCP standards, and clinical trial processes. Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration in complex matrix environments. Preferred: experience managing large teams, designing innovative clinical strategies, and working on late-stage assets. High-Value: global regulatory engagement, pediatric development, biometrics support, cross-functional leadership, therapeutic area expertise in obesity and metabolic diseases. Work Setup: hybrid role based in the U.S., with up to 30% travel; relocation support available.
