The GDL also engages external stakeholders, supports regulatory submissions, and ensures compliance with GxP standards. Qualifications: MD or DO with 8+ years in clinical research, preferably with endocrinology or cardiometabolic expertise, and experience in late-stage development (Phases 2-3) in biopharma. Proven leadership, cross-functional influence, and knowledge of ICH/GCP are essential. High-value biopharma specifics include focus on type 2 diabetes and metabolic disorders, with responsibilities spanning clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and strategic planning. The role involves up to 30% travel, is hybrid (onsite ~2.5 days/week), and may include international regulatory activities. Candidate must demonstrate scientific credibility, leadership, and agility in a complex, matrixed environment.
