Purpose:
The Genesis Project Senior Specialist executes project management activities for Genesis-related technology changes in alignment with business goals and industry best practices. Partners with Commercial & AA (C&AA) Procurement and the Procurement Strategy and Capabilities (PSC) team to align on milestones and raise/resolve risks and issues.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project management processes aligned to business goals and strategic vision.
- Execute team alignment activities supporting higher-level Genesis program timelines.
- Build and monitor risk mitigation plans with Category Managers, Procurement Managers, and the PSC team.
- Execute continuous improvement projects initiated by the PSC team.
- Lead and/or inform Genesis technology-related communications across the C&AA team.
- Complete all actions in compliance with procurement policy.
- Enable team goals to deliver performance targets and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Mgmt, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, technology management, project management, or related business/operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
- Innovative, solution-oriented problem-solving and clear communication.
- Strong executive functioning and autonomous work ethic; ability to build consensus in challenging situations.
