General Technician - HEPA Technician

Role: HEPA Filtration Equipment Technician supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, focusing on installation, maintenance, testing, certification, and repair of HEPA filtration systems in classified aseptic environments. Responsibilities: perform HEPA certifications, leak and airflow tests, maintain certification records, troubleshoot HVAC systems, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance following cGMP standards. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training from HVAC/refrigeration trade programs or recognized apprenticeships; 2+ years of recent experience as a HEPA technician performing leak and velocity testing; or equivalent military training and experience. Preferred: ability to read HVAC drawings, mechanical aptitude, familiarity with testing and balancing HVAC systems. High-Value: experience with certification of HEPA filters in aseptic manufacturing, working in controlled environments, aseptic gowning, and safety protocols. Work setup: primarily on-site in classified pharmaceutical manufacturing areas, involving heavy lifting, confined spaces, and working at heights; may require immunizations, PPE, and emergency response readiness.
